TechLine (operated by PG Handyman Services) is committed to protecting the privacy of our

users. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you

use the TechLine SMS-based field data capture system and its integration with Jobber.

By using TechLine, you consent to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

When you use TechLine, we collect the following types of information:

• SMS command data submitted by technicians, including job numbers, labor time entries,

expense records, and job notes

• Phone numbers associated with technician accounts

• Jobber account information accessed via OAuth 2.0 authorization, including job details,

client records, and expense data

• Timestamps and automation logs associated with system activity

We do not collect payment card information, government identification numbers, or sensitive

personal information beyond what is necessary to operate the service.

3. How We Use Your Information

Information collected through TechLine is used exclusively to:

• Process and record field activity data submitted via SMS commands

• Write job notes, expenses, and time entries to your connected Jobber account

• Generate job costing worksheets and operational records

• Send automated confirmation messages back to technicians

• Provide customer support and troubleshoot system issues

We do not use your business data for advertising, marketing, or any purpose unrelated to

operating the TechLine service.

4. Data Storage and Security

Operational data captured by TechLine is stored in Google Sheets infrastructure and processed

through Make.com automation workflows. Both platforms maintain their own security standards

and data protection practices.

We implement reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect your data from

unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot

guarantee absolute security of transmitted data.

We retain operational data for as long as necessary to provide the service and comply with

applicable legal obligations. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

5. Third-Party Data Sharing

TechLine does not sell, rent, or trade your business data to third parties.

Data is transmitted to the following third-party platforms as part of normal system operation:

• Jobber — job notes, expenses, time entries, and job status updates are written to your

Jobber account via the authorized API connection

• Make.com — automation workflows process SMS commands and route data between

systems

• Google Sheets — operational data is stored and organized for reporting and job costing

purposes

Each of these platforms has its own Privacy Policy governing their data handling practices. We

encourage you to review their policies independently.

6. Jobber OAuth Authorization

When you connect TechLine to your Jobber account, you authorize the TechLine / Jobber

application to read and write data within the scopes you approve. This authorization can be

revoked at any time from within your Jobber account settings.

Revoking authorization will immediately disconnect TechLine from your Jobber account and

stop all automated data writes.

7. Employee and Technician Data

As a business owner using TechLine, you are responsible for obtaining appropriate consent

from your employees and technicians for the collection of their work activity data, including time

records, location-related job data, and expense submissions.

TechLine collects technician phone numbers solely to identify the source of SMS commands

and associate activity with the correct user. This data is not shared with third parties outside of

normal system operation.

8. Your Rights

Under applicable privacy legislation in British Columbia, Canada, you have the right to:

• Request access to the personal information we hold about you

• Request correction of inaccurate information

• Request deletion of your data

• Withdraw consent for data processing

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by

updating the effective date at the top of this document. Continued use of TechLine following any
