1. Acceptance of Terms

By connecting your Jobber account to TechLine, accessing the TechLine SMS command

system, or using any TechLine services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If

you do not agree, do not use the service.

These Terms apply to all users of TechLine, including business owners, technicians, and any

authorized personnel who interact with the system.

2. Description of Service

TechLine is an SMS-based field data capture system designed for service businesses. The

system allows technicians to log labor time, expenses, job notes, and job completion events via

text message commands. These events are automatically recorded and, where connected,

written into third-party platforms such as Jobber.

TechLine operates as a data capture and automation layer. It does not replace Jobber or any

other platform and is intended to work alongside existing business software.

3. Account and Access Requirements

To use TechLine in connection with Jobber, you must:

• Hold a valid and active Jobber account

• Authorize the TechLine / Jobber application via Jobber's OAuth 2.0 process

• Maintain your own Jobber subscription in good standing

• Ensure all technicians using the SMS system are authorized by your business

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and for maintaining the

confidentiality of any credentials associated with your TechLine setup.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to use TechLine only for lawful business purposes. You are responsible for:

• The accuracy of data submitted through SMS commands

• Ensuring your technicians are trained on proper command usage

• Maintaining appropriate authorization from your employees to collect and process their

work activity data

• Complying with all applicable employment, payroll, and privacy laws in your jurisdiction

5. Data Ownership

You retain ownership of all operational data submitted through TechLine. This includes labor

records, expense logs, job notes, and any other business data captured via the system.

TechLine does not claim ownership of your business data. Data transmitted to Jobber through

the integration is governed by Jobber's own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

6. Third-Party Integrations

TechLine integrates with third-party platforms including Jobber and Make.com. Use of these

platforms is subject to their respective terms and conditions. TechLine is not responsible for the

availability, accuracy, or performance of third-party services.

If Jobber modifies or discontinues API access, certain TechLine features may be affected. We

will make reasonable efforts to maintain functionality but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service

in such circumstances.

7. Limitation of Liability

TechLine is provided on an "as is" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law,

TechLine and PG Handyman Services shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or

consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to lost

revenue, lost data, or business interruption.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms shall not exceed the fees

paid by you in the three months preceding the claim.

8. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of TechLine at any time with

reasonable notice where possible. We may also update these Terms from time to time.

Continued use of the service following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised

Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of British

Columbia, Canada. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive

jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia, Canada.
